Gail and Dave at Living Yoga

Who are we?

Living Yoga was founded by Gail Reeves and Dave Charlton in 1994. Gail and Dave have both trained extensively in India and the UK. They are both senior teachers for the Association for Yoga Studies (AYS), accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and are Diploma Course Tutors(DCT) for the Wheel. Their main teachers have been Paul Harvey and Peter Hersnack, both long time students of TKV Desikachar. They are also qualified counsellors and have teaching qualifications.

Gail has been studying Yoga since 1972 and teaching for more than 25 years. She specialises in individual teaching, therapy work and Yoga for Pregnancy. Gail has also run courses on stress management and self-esteem for women. She has a large client base in the Malvern area and a number of established group classes.

Our Approach to Yoga

We are committed to the viniyoga of Yoga, the application of Yoga respecting individual ability, interests and needs, as inspired by the teachings of TKV Desikachar and T Krishnmacharya.

Regular classes

We run regular classes at our own studio in Hanley Swan (near Malvern), and also in Worcester. There are a variety of daytime and evening classes, check out the Living Yoga website for more details.

Gail runs regular anti-natal classes also from the studio in Hanley Swan.

Individual Tuition

Individual tuition is aimed at developing your own practice, personally designed to meet your needs and lifestyle. This was how Yoga was traditionally taught. If you really want to develop your Yoga, and make it really effective in supporting your life, or you want a Yoga routine to help with a specific need or problem, then this is for you.

Both Gail and Dave have specialized in individual tuition for many years and have a large client base including many Yoga Teachers.
