Child Protection/Safeguarding Information

Just a reminder to check out the Child Protection page on our website www.bwy.org.uk  which contains downloadable materials and information to
help you fulfil the requirements of the CP policy. The forms are there as guidance; you don’t necessarily have to use them in the format in which they are presented, but you can adapt them to fit in with your particular teaching situation, providing you stay within the parameters of the CP Policy.
After several requests from teachers, I have written a General Guidance sheet on
considerations for accepting an under-18 yearold into an adult class (‘Adult Classes Under- 18s: General Guidance’); this is available on the CP webpage, under Fact Sheets. If you do not use the internet please contact me for a paper copy.
